Show details from the Product Entity RRS feed

  • I want to show some details from the Product Entity on an Advanced Find on Contacts (details about the product the contact has on their invoice) Ihave created a relationship and I can see the field but no data is returned.

  • If you are using Advanced Find to search for contacts then you will only be able to show fields from the contact entity or fields from any parental entities, but not child entities. For example, you can show some contact fields and some fields about the contact's owner (because owning user is parental to the contact). But you can't show fields from the contact entity and the contact's invoices and the invoice's items and the invoice item's product because all of these are child entities of each other.

  • No, not with Advanced Find. If you're trying to show some details about the products associated with a contact's invoices then you'll need to develop a custom report.
