Modifying a document in my Live Desktop RRS feed

    If I modify a document, such as a Word document while in my Live Desktop, and save it, it is not saving the changes.  I can modify the document on my PC in the mesh folder, and the changes are saved and synched, but I am not able to do it from the Live Desktop.  Is this normal?  Are the documents "read-only" while accessing the Live Desktop??

    Yes. This is normal. You do not directly edit files on the Live Desktop. You download the file, edit, save, and upload the file.
    If the folder is synchronized with the PC and the Live Desktop, editing the local file on the PC in the Live Mesh folder will cause the changed file to sync up to the Live Desktop and other devices.
