Essential Licence RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm testing the essential licence type with on-premise with CRM2013. I cannot see any difference with the Professional licence.

An essential licence user can create Accounts, Contacts, Cases, Marketing records etc.

Could some one clarify whether the licence privileges are enforce by the product?

    Thanks,

    Rocky.

  • Hi,

The licensing model is effectively on a trust basis - so you must restrict your essential licensed users using security roles rather than relying on the product doing it for you.
