Create a search box window. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm new to Visual Studio so go easy on me. What I'm hoping to accomplish is to create a search box the references and searches a specific folder. Can any of you guide me? Thanks.

  • Hi DataHog,

Based on your description, it is not the VS IDE issue, it would be related to the specific app's development, to help you find the correct forum for this issue, would you mind letting us know more information about it? Which kind of language are you using, VC#, VB or others? In addition, which kind of app did you want to create, WinForm app or Web app or others? Please let me know more information about it, I will help you find the correct forum for this issue.

    For example:

    The WinForum forum:http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/home?forum=winforms

    The ASP.NET forum:http://forums.asp.net
I think you could find the correct forum if you research the spefic app's forum in the MSDN site.

    Best Regards,

  • Hello,

If jack's suggestions don't help, I'd ask in the proper language forum in the Visual Studio Languages forums on MSDN.
