CRM Email Form custom attribute is read-only RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have a requirement whereby I need to add a custom attribute to the CRM email form. This field is called 'Keywords'. I have created and added the field.

    The issue is that users want to tag emails with keywords, which is not a problem when creating the email and sending via CRM.

    However when a user receives an email into their mailbox, and users 'Track in CRM', this email becomes read-only (which I expected) - including my custom field.

    Is there any way to make this field read-write even though the rest of the form is read-only?

    crmForm.all.ec_keywords.Disabled = false;
    }
