  • ive got it working now. i can log in with live meeting. but cant invite anyone. invite is grayed out.

but i cannot find where i can change email settings, or any other settings. the only settings i am able to change is on the server itself in administrative tools , the mmc snap-in.

there must be more settings then that?

is there an http:// url i must browse to so can can start changing settings like mail server and more?

    where is the conference center?

  • You can install the Conferencing Add-In in outlook and create meetings from there

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA102368901033.aspx

    or

You can install the Webscheduler, a web interface to scheduling meetings

  • This is more an Administrator tool

If you need it for your users you should try the Outlook Add-In, it is very User friendly and works just as they are used to create normal meetings!

  • It's not really required to use an admin account

Make sure that you enable cookies and that you add this site to the local intranet site

Login with normal user that is sip enabled

  • ok i got 2 questions.

    what password? none?

if i only type the SIP i get "Login failed!" it wants me to type DOMAIN\alias . ive tried DOMAIN\sip and everything.

and the other is, ive installed the addin for lotus notes (similar to outlook addin) and i need to specify meeting URL in the addon. what would my URL be? http://server_FQDN/ wont work

when i try to click the button in the addon i get: "one ore more of your organizer user ID, password or conference center URL are invalid."

  • The meeting URL is only required for Office Live Meeting not OCS Live meeting

    Leave this entry blank

  • yeah ok. ive made a small recording of what the problem is...

    http://www.simnet.is/~granat.mur/screen.avi

it says when i do test connection that it works...
also if i click meet now in live meeting client itself, then it works...
but from the addin, if i click "meet now" or manage meetings or anything, i get the error you can see in the video.

  • Have a look at this page

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/CD102549901033.aspx

It only says office live meeting inthe name of the add-in

Microsoft Office Live Meeting Lotus Notes Add-In

The one for outlook does not specifically list live meeting

So it may just be that it is not supported with OCS
