Windows 7 Ultimate product code is invalid RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently purchased a new computer and I swear I ordered Ultimate, but I only got Professional.  I had a lot of problems with the computer so I started from fresh.  By mistake I accidentally installed Ultimate and I only have a Professional key.  I had all my data on here already and I didn't want to back it up.  I went to 365 Professionals and bought a product key.  It has been fine since May 11, but all of a sudden I got a message saying that this product code has been blocked by Microsoft.  I don't know what to do now :(

  • You cannot buy just a Product Key - See this.  Googling 365 Professionals give me 3 RipOff Report pages in the first 5 links.  It is obvious that they sold you a counterfeit key.  I would pursue a refund ASAP.

  • You will need to purchase a legitimate, genuine, full version Windows 7 Ultimate license and then perform an update.

  • At the time it all seemed legit and I didn't think twice about it being a fraud.  I even checked the microsoft verification page and it said it was legit.  Of course now that I have been emailing them, I am not getting a reply.
