    MS Money 2006 Deluxe (very relevant!)

    My use of Money 2006 is exclusively OFFline!

    My principal bank account reconciles easily every day.  But the real bank's balance and Money's bank balance are out of whack by an annoying amount.  Therefore, there are OLD transactions that have not reconciled (checks not cashed or something).  How can I find them without browsing several thousand entries?  I thought there would be a report for this.  ???  The View Unreconciled Transactions has NO effect, it shows all transactions (probably because I reconcile MANUALLY, not online with my bank).

    I see that you have started a new thread on this issue.  First, carefully read Cal's most recent response in the original thread.

    If Cal's suggestions don't help, I would try opening sample.mny and experimenting with that.  If the sample.mny file also misbehaves it may help to re-install Money.

    Another thing to consider, - there are a number of reasons why your Money account balance may not match the bank balance:

      - accidentally deleting a transaction in Money

      - clearing a Money transaction that's the wrong amount (you have $39.89 and the bank has $38.99)

      - accidentally entering a transaction twice

    etc.
