If you wish to certify on the 3.5 version, then you will need to take two exams:
- You need to pass 70-536, which is the "foundation" exam required by all the developer certifications on the Framework 2.0 and 3.5. This requirement was removed for the 4.0 certifications.

- You will also need to pass exam 70-562: TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development, which is the "web" exam for version 3.5.

If you are an ASP.NET developer, I suggest that you take exam 70-515, "TS: Web Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4", which will give you an MCTS certification.
This link has the details about the exam:
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-515&locale=en-us
There you will find the list of "skills measured", and a list of preparation materials which include the Practice Tests.

A. Rahul,
Microsoft tests are administered through Prometric, you will need to contact them for more information. To find the test you are looking for, maybe research Microsoft's website so you can get a better idea what you want now and what you want to achieve.

Go to www.prometric.com and follow the steps to sign up for the exam (you can cancel at eny time without completing the process). In this way you will find out the price, which varies depending on the country (140 Euros in Western Europe).
You need to select the date of the exam before paying for it, but you can later go back into the website and reschedule the exam for a different date.
