Currency conversion for non-US purchases RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was interested in the E-Learning Premium Collection 6337, detailed at www.microsoftelearning.com/eLearning/offerDetail.aspx?offerPriceId=223017

There is currently a special offer to purchase the suite for $499.99 US dollars using promocode WS08PREM.

If I try to purchase the suite and use that code, in US dollars the price is $499.99. At today's conversion rates this is approximately $519.41 Australian dollars. However, if I select my country as Australia and apply the code, the price comes out as $893.62 Australian dollars - over $370 more expensive.

Is there any way I can but this product at or close to the Australian dollar equivalent of the US special price? (I don't want to "lie" and state my location as the US)
