OK – in an Elevated Command Prompt window, run the following commands

    sc sidtype sppsvc UNRESTRICTED

    sc sdset sppsvc D:(A;;CCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRRC;;;SY)(A;;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;BA)(A;;CCLCSWRPLOCRRC;;;IU)(A;;CCLCSWRPLOCRRC;;;SU)(A;;LCRP;;;AU)S:(AU;FA;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;WD)

NOTE – that second command should all be on a single line. Copy and paste it into Notepad, and make sure that Wrapping is disabled, adjust it if necessary, then copy/paste it to the C/P prompt.

As a side note, I have been having issues with this computer for
a while giving me BLUE SCREEN and just shutting down and rebooting
randomly. That is the reason I had installed WiseFixer and AVG but those did
    not resolve anything.

Can you recommend any program that could resolve this issue.
Again...Thanks for all your help with this problem. I really
    appreciate your assistance.

    Thomas Wheeler

Your best bet is to post that query in the Windows Answers forums – probably in the System Repair one.

You’ve almost certainly been using a Registry Cleaner – probably WiseFixer.
First, please UNDO any changes that the ‘cleaner’ made, then uninstall it
If you can’t undo changes made, try a System Restore back to a point when the system was working OK
    Then reboot again.
The post back with a new MGADiag report.

  • I tried a restore,,and it failed.  I have removed WiseFixer.  I do have the activation code, can I just put it back in somewhere?

    No.

Highlight ALL the text (including the blank lines) between the two lines of ***s - select Copy

Open an Elevated Command Prompt window - click on the Start button, and in the Search box, type CMD. wait for the system to find the one file, then right-click on that and select Run as Administrator. Accept the UAC prompt if you get one

Right-click on the C:\ icon  (top left of the window) and select Edit... >Paste

You should get Success responses after each line of code

    when complete, reboot

test the outcome (MGADiag should now report properly on the state of the license)
Post your new MGADiag repost in your reply.

    Please read what I wrote....
...”click on the Start button, and in the Search box, type CMD. wait for the system to find the one file” THEN right-click on the found file.

    another option is
    Click on Start
Click on All Programs, then Accessories,
then right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator.

Hmm – don’t often (i.e. never) see a c0000022 error in that position!
I’d normally associate it with a disk error – but it seems that it’s simply an ‘access denied’ error in this context.

Please run the following command in a Command Prompt window, and paste the results in your response.

OK – in an Elevated Command Prompt window, run the following commands

    sc sidtype sppsvc UNRESTRICTED

    sc sdset sppsvc D:(A;;CCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRRC;;;SY)(A;;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;BA)(A;;CCLCSWRPLOCRRC;;;IU)(A;;CCLCSWRPLOCRRC;;;SU)(A;;LCRP;;;AU)S:(AU;FA;CCDCLCSWRPWPDTLOCRSDRCWDWO;;;WD)

NOTE – that second command should all be on a single line. Copy and paste it into Notepad, and make sure that Wrapping is disabled, adjust it if necessary, then copy/paste it to the C/P prompt.

    YAY! – We got there!
Well done – your system is now showing as genuine.
(You still have a non-genuine Office, though – nothing I can do about that, except advise you to purchase a legal copy)

Thanks for bearing with me while I groped around ;)

    Good luck

  • As a side note, I have been having issues with this computer for
a while giving me BLUE SCREEN and just shutting down and rebooting
randomly. That is the reason I had installed WiseFixer and AVG but those did
    not resolve anything.

Can you recommend any program that could resolve this issue.
Again...Thanks for all your help with this problem. I really
    appreciate your assistance.

Your best bet is to post that query in the Windows Answers forums – probably in the System Repair one.
