Hello all,
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question. Microsoft website is so vast, i got a little lost
Is this is not the right place, could any one kindly suggest where i could post this question.
Windows CE , supports Bluetooth stack. There are some profiles, like A2DP, AVRCP which are not supported. And also for HSP/HSF, there is support for AG, but not for Device mode.
How to add newer protocols and profiles which are not supported in windows CE ? And how to add extra support for existing profiles.
I understand that for A2DP and AVRCP, one needs to also add AVDTP and AVCTP, which are the dependant protocols. Now in this case too, since these are not supported in Windows CE, how to add these new protocols and profiles.
I read about "Creating a Bluetooth Stack Extension Layer" in the below link..
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa916236.aspx
Should we have to use this extension layer technique to add newer protocols and profiles, AND also for adding extra features to existing protocols and profiles to the Windows CE ? Is this supported on Windows CE 5.0 and also on Windows CE 6.0 ?
Kindly suggest... thanks in advance.
regards
upm/.
