The above title and the rest of the MS boilerplate language appears without warning in a little pop up window on the desktop. The icon for my Acronis back up software disappears but the opening window of the software shows that my
computer is protected.
The computer starts to act as if there is more activity that the memory can handle I.E. taking long time to X out a program, open up a program etc.
Since Microsoft Fix it Center was installed shortly before this began happening, and .Net is necessary to run the program (if I remember correctly), and my Acronis icon disappears when this happens, and the
Properties menu for the Microsoft Fix it Center listing in the Program menu Storages listing has the note "Exclude From Non-Stop Backup" attached to it, it seems to me that there is a strong possibility that Microsoft Fix it Center could have a conflict
with Acronis.
Oh! I also did a web search looking for possible causes and .NET came up indirectly as a possible cause.
The problem also seems to occur every day at the time my AV program runs although this is not the only time. It also happened when I closed out the search operation one morning earlier last week and it can happen without me knowing why. There are also large
stretches of time when everything works normal.
I installed Microsoft Fix it Center just to have it but if it's causing the problem I can live without it. I would just need to know how to get rid of it( delete it from the Program Menu?) and uninstall .NET which I'm not sure how to do.
Everything runs well until this occurs.
