What kind of drivers are you all using? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Just wondering before I put this on a spare server...it's not like there are Windows Server Home Edition drivers for my precision workstation...do I just use XP drivers? Sorry if this has been answered, I searched for "drivers" and looked around a bit, didn't see an answer. Sorry if the answer is obvious, but it's not to me...

  • Because Windows Home Server is ultimatly based on Windows Server 2003... any 2003 driver for your hardware should work just fine under WHS and if you are unable to find a 2003 version of the driver, the XP version *may* still work.

  • Oh! Thanks. That'll definately work, using 2003 drivers. I wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not.
