Link Glossary


  • Does anyone know how to use the Link Glossary?  The help file says it is useful but only describes how to manage the links from tools/options.  How do you use the glossary?

  • The link glossary is a way of autolinking words and phrases. For example, if I set up a link glossary for Scottisafool and told it to point to, then when I'm writing a blog entry, if I were to type "Scottisafool", then Writer would automatically make that into a link and point to the url I provided.

  • Thank you.  I poked around a bit more and found that after clicking to add a hyperlink, the dialog box has the "link to" button which offer the two options "previous post"and "glossary entry".  It is useful for frequently used links but unfortunately this is not documented in the help file.  It would be a nice enhancement to be able to publish the glossary on the blog as a list.
