Exchange Connection Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    i get the following error on some of my clients. During my holiday the IIS Metabase of the exchange Server was repaired. Now we get on all Clients that are not Domain Members the Error : Exchange Connection Error

    The Configuration Information says : MAPI Status Error

    I tried serveral things - Controlling the Certificate Services; Controlling the IIS Rights;

    Sometimes i get the Error Cannot Synchronize Address Book to, but this one is not persistent.

    Clients who are Domain Members do not get any error.

    Do you have any idea where i should start to troubleshoot ?

    thanks

  • Hello,

    no this error is a Communcator 2007 R2 Error
    Outlook Anywhere works fine on these clients.

    thanks

  • Communicator makes contact with the autodiscover service on exchange 2007, since you did not list the version of exchange you are on. I am making an assumption. But if you are on exchange 2007 I would look at the autodiscover service and how it is setup. also the URLS and certificates associated with it. and then last but not least the authentication methods associated with it.
