In the process of installing Vista 64 the HDs are not seen RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a an MSI P7N diamond motherboard; an intel Core2Quad Q6600 CPU water cooled; 2 Geforce 9800 512MB DDR3 water cooled PCIe video cards in an SLI configuration;a Blue ray DVD; Two Seagate internally installed sata HD one 1TB the other 650 GB size: The bios recognizes these HDs but when I try to instal Vista 64 the installation stops as the HDs are not recognized by the installation program. I have currently 6 GB of memory installed and realize that there has been a problem in the past with Vista 32 and more than 3 GB of memory but thought that this was not the case with Vista 64.This is a clean installation. Decided to bring problem up in forum before reducing memory back to 2GB.  Any help would be greatly appreciated
