FixIt Center Tool - Each FixIt yields an 80040154 Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Vista 32bit.  Sony VAIO, 2gB RAM, HDD 1/4 full.

FixIt Center installed - server tossed an unknown error right after unstall.  Didn't capture it.

Launching any FixIt Center Tool tosses this in EventViewer:

...Along with 3 other warnings having to do with UrlProxy and HTTP in the Matsvc module source.  I can post those if need be.  I'll uninstall and reinstall if need be.

Nice tool, nice concept.   Wish it would work.

  • Uninstalled it.  Used RevoUninstaller to expunge all bits.

    Redownloaded fresh copy.  Re-installed.

Allowed it to run all the way to done, without touching it.

    No errors.

    Case closed.
