I have a question in regards to the CRM2011 to Sharepoint 2010 integration.
The issue here is that when you create a document in SharePoint from CRM (you do that in an IFrame that points directly do a document list), and want to add metadata to the document, you either has to do it manually after adding the document, or you can
have SharePoint pop a windows that prompts for mandatory metadata.
I like to populate the metadata of the document automatically based on the context in CRM.
The reason for this is that I would like to search for documents in Sharepoint with the metadata that has been saved with the document in Sharepoint like contract, customer, etc..
Any ideas?
