My client is planning a major upgrade to their on-premise CRM 2011 organization tomorrow. In this upgrade they will be importing massive amounts of records into current and new entities.
I believe there is a potential problem in that users will remain connected to the network and Outlook will try to synchronize. Obviously we don't want any synchronization to occur until the upgrade is complete
Disabling the user, is not an option in this case. also turning off or modifying each of the hundreds of user's scheduled synchronization is impractical.
what is the best way to prevent synchronization from being attempted? is there a service that we can suspend?
thanks for your help
