How to Start "Visual Web Developer"

Question
-
Hi,
All the help files I can find tell how to start a Project after you have started the Program - BUT - how so you start the program?
I've just installed Visual web Developer 12.0 with the intention of testing its advertised WYSIWYG interface for simple HTML.
But I can't find an exe file to start the program.
Where is it in the default installation and what is it called?
Also, there don't appear to be any templates installed with it. Where can I get them?
Regards,
Laurie Comerford

This is "where is" forum for direction on where best to ask questions and get help. I'd ask for help here in Microsoft official forums.

Hi Dave,
Like everything else I've found on the internet, these pages work on the presumption that you know how to start Visual Web Developer and then they describe how to use it.
I know how to use it, I don't know how to start it and I can't find templates which are there somewhere in the Gigabytes of MS web pages, but inadequately indexed.

Hi Dave,
I have asked an extremely simple to answer question. How do you start the software?
Yet all I get back are references to pages which do not answer the question, but instead continue on from AFTER you've started the software.
Surely as a nominated expert in this field you actually know the answer.
I'm going to save myself the trouble of dealing with this software by uninstalling it.
Good bye to another monumental time waster.

This is "where is" forum for direction on where best to ask questions. The visual studio web dev software experts hang out here which is where you should be asking your questions about the software.
