Preplogic may be the best.
However their sales techniques are questionable.
So you are either your lucky or work you for them.
I dont care which because I passed the exam.
Thank you one and all.
Congrats on the pass :)
For any future exams, apart from Preplogic, other vendors you may want to try include:
1. Boson
2. Transcender
3. Measure-Up
I've used all 4 vendors for different exams (hence why I recommend them) and they all suit their purpose. Granted a few years ago, I would not have recommend Measure-Up, but they have improved imo.

Measure up is ____. Be careful not to cut off your nose to spite your face. PrepLogic are known to be the best in IT training. So you got into a little tiff with them. Use garbage like measure up and you'll lose time, money, and probably fail. Suck it up and chalk it up to a misunderstanding. Just a word of advice from someone who's been there.Friday, September 25, 2009 10:36 AM

Hi all,
I am the most recent victim of preplogic.com. how can we stop preplogic from chiseling people ?
What I want to say today is that if there is any way to shout out to the world that preplogic.com is the biggest liar and stealer on earth.
They didn’t stop sending me email for their practice exams and on September 11 I have ordered the 70-236 practice exam. Right after my order, they called me on the phone to convince me to buy the package including the video, audio and practice exams for full access for 2 years at $99. I said yes then let Kyle Corpin to take care of all. 10 days after I have received the dvd and the first invoice that I have paid $116.95 of $1,612.95. I have contacted Kyle and told him that I didn’t want to pay for more than $99 that he has confirmed me. He said that the $116 and I wouldn’t have to pay any penny more. On October 11 I was charged a second time at $187. I called them again and have obtained the cancellation after days of negotiation. I have a refund of $187 then I asked them that I have paid $116.95 for the practice exam that they sell at $49 at first. Then the explanation is that $116.95 is for 30 days trial. I mean that preplogic continue to steal from us again and again if we don’t have any way to warn people.

I also dealt with Kyle!
Does your DVD at least have all the resources and practice exams on it?
Mine didnt and after two weeks this was the response:
have heard back from the production company regarding the pre and post tests in which you have referenced, and it seems that those tests are not currently offered on your ASP .NET 2.0 Web Application Development (70-528) LearnSmart Video Training. As previously discussed, we are still waiting to hear back in reference to the source codes your have inquired about.
But on the website they still advertise it! Grrr makes me so angry!
I told them to cancel the subscription because the other exams that I will be doing is not even listed as available products! This is what they said:
I can completely understand that you are unhappy that you do not have the source files, but rest assured we are working hard to get everything that you need to study for your exam. I also understand that you are unhappy that we currently do not have training for some of the titles that you would like, but keep in mind that your Unlimited Access program grants you 2 years of access to everything we offer, including the products that we will develop in the future. That being said, as a customer courtesy and because we really do want to get you certified, I have received very special permission to get your purchase price lowered to $995+shipping, with monthly payments of $92.50. You will still have your Unlimited Access for the full 2 years of the service. I think this will work into your budget and still get you the quality training that you need to advance your career. I have already submitted the appropriate paperwork to our billing department, so please respond to this ticket as soon as possible so that we can have these changes finalized for you. We look forward to hearing from you.
Made me even MORE angry - so they want me to wait for a possible TWO years so that they may/ or may not develop material in my subjects (which by the way dear KYLE told me they DO have) and all a long I keep paying? DONT THINK SO!
I contacted my credit card company!
The only way to let people know is to post on public forums about itThursday, October 22, 2009 4:09 PM -
Natasja94
not at all, the only thing on the DVD is the installation file for the learnsmart video. Kyle has promised me there are video, audio training, etc... . that all i have to pay is $50 more because i have paid the practice exam at $49. this means the package costs $99 with the umlimited access of 2 years for the 70-236 but i found out later that there is no audio training and he said that he'll send me when the audio training will be ready.
apparently there are lots of people who have been cheated the same way that we are. i have found complaints too lately because when we search for preplogic on google. the first reponse is preplogic.com.
i found on http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/preplogic-c184319.html#comments that someone will go through the BBB like this.
"This company is nothing but fraud! Do not give this company any of your money. They will tell you anything to get you to join but will not deliver even when you have it in writing. Am going through the BBB and legal system to see that this does not happen to anybody else."
i am not in the US. so if you are, do something and keep me informed.

i don't think so. I only came to this site because I wanted to look up some unbiased commentary on the quality of the *content* of total PrepLogic training program (especially video), the one PrepLogic says "works like NetFlix". After reading through most of the comments on this board, I became very annoyed at the content. Before I commit to anything especially spending big money on IT training materials, I ALWAYS do my homework. I have been a PrepLogic customer for at least 5 years, I've bought many Microsoft-related vouchers and exam software packages and even some audio training for CompTIA exams. I have never had a single problem with PrepLogic...ever, and I've purchased way too much from them for it just to be " dumb luck" that I've had a good experience. I too have recently been offered the training package that "works like NetFlix", and I've heard about the "trial" program, etc. I have been in contact with with both Kyle and another gentleman by the name or Eric. I have had EVERYTHING explained to be in painstaking, easy to understand detail, several times I might add. I still have not bought this package yet though, purely for personal financial reasons. If the trial does costs money and you are told that, and you agree to the terms of the trial, and then fail to opt out in the time stated then that's your fault. It just seems to me like this is a personal responsibility problem, something that is so lacking in the world any more...READ and COMPREHEND before you agree to something, KNOW what you are getting yourself into. Whether it's a purchase, a legal arrangement, a business arrangement, etc. If you aren't sure about it or haven't reviewed the terms completely...then for God sakes...don't commit until you feel comfortable and have reviewed everything! Everyone wants to buy things NOW, everyone wants it "right now", they just *can't wait*, and when they fail to listen because they can't get past the delayed gratification issue and the "bill comes due", people suddenly want to jump up and act surprised, and scream Cheat! Thief! Liar! Fraud! Lawsuit! FBI! Police! Interpol! ...that really bothers me on so many levels. Hence a world where people go to McDonalds, buy a coffee, burn themselves, and SUE AND WIN against the McDonalds because of their own mistake...or more like current events, like with the US legislature being asked to approve massive bills like this current healthcare bill (2nd iteration, 1,900+ pages!) that no one was allowed to review ahead of time and everyone who's put the "bill" together claims they've read and understand the whole thing...point being the vast majority of those who are going to vote on it have not! I don't care what country you are from or what your personal or political beliefs are, not taking personal responsibility and doing due diligence on ANYTHING before making a huge commitment is just foolish and will almost inevitably lead to failure or at least very bad, even if unintended, consequences.
(And no, for you conspiracy nutcases, I DO NOT work for PrepLogic and am not affiliated with them in any way - I am a long time customer - and now I am legally on the hook, so if I were affiliated with PrepLogic in any way and I just said I wasn't...per US Federal trade law I could get in huge trouble for saying such things)Friday, October 30, 2009 2:35 PM -
I am very happy that YOUR experience with Preplogic have been a good one. Mine wasnt and I was NOT part of some TRIAL offer. The fact remains that the Video software for the specific exam that I bought was not what they have promised it did not have any of the exams/ resouce material that they advertised. This is from the ticket that I opened with preplogic
To date, the 70-528 product line includes video training, Mega Guide and Lecture Series audio. Please be advised that most of our titles include practice exams, printables, video training, Mega Guides and audio; however for this particular title, we do not currently offer practice exams. Our comprehensive video training is by far the best of our products so I'm glad you can enjoy this quality instruction taught by the leading professionals in the industry.
You are correct, there seems to be missing Pre and Post Test information, as-well-as labs the Labs. Thanks you for bringing this to our attention. When the update is available we will have it for you. In the mean time the you do have your Videos, Practice Exam, Audio Training and Mega Guides. The second an update is available you will be made aware, I promise, thank you for your patience.
This is information that they should have given me BEFORE I made the purchase not after I have spend my money with them
And as you stated you have not purchased this package as yet. As far as anyone taking responsibility for anything I can not see where I did NOT take responsibilty for anything? If standing up for myself and saying "Hi this is NOT the product that you sold me makes me somehow wrong or at fault then I am REALLY glad I dont live in YOUR world!Sunday, November 1, 2009 5:54 PM -
Yes you're right that we all have to READ and AGREE with the terms but when you are told that you had to pay for something and you found out a few day after that Preplogic and even precisely Kyle didn't do what they have said, in my case Kyle told me the 70-236 costs $99 and we agreed for the purchase of this package then in the invoice they sold you the unlimited access package. i didn't ask for this and i have precisely asked Kyle to change it back to the 70-236 package but unfortunately, all of what i did was just by words but not by writing.
i am customer of microsoft, mesureup and more but no one has cheated people like Preplogic and i am not the only one. it's not invisible like you see at this forum.Monday, November 2, 2009 8:33 AM -
Hi, I have also been ripped off by PrepLogic.
I spoke to Eric.
I only wanted CEH video (online) because I had previously bought the mega-guide and quiz but was talked into unlim. access for 50$ first month and $99 after that. This seemed like a cheaper alternative than buying the DVD. This was late September. Like many other people here and on other forums the prices I were told were not what I was billed and the course I wanted is not really online its on DVD. Anyway, I used the DVD (which is good to be fair), booked the exam for next month (no discount as I'm not in the US). I'm starting my masters soon and decided I would not use the service for awhile so I'd cancel it.
Eric told me a) I could cancel at anytime and b) yes, I could cancel after the CEH if I wanted too (as I told him thats all I really wanted).
When I went to cancel I was told I should have done this within the first 30 days. When I complained I got a canned-reply stating all their staff and fully trained to explain the terms / conditions (NOT TRUE). They stated they sent me a message giving the terms/conditions after my purchase in a seperate message (NOT TRUE). Eventually, they sent me a link to a URL stating terms/conditions that I NEVER saw before and are very different to the ones in the download link they sent me after my purchase. Theses "new" terms that were never represented to me before even mention yet another completly different pricing structure.
I agree you need to always read the terms/conditions when doing this sort of thing BUT :
a) the salesman told be a different pricing plan
b) the salesman could me telling me it was urgent I speak to them (... dirty trick that I should not have fell for)
c) the salesman told me I could cancel at any time.
d) the terms / conditions in the delivery msg don't match the terms which they have now "thrust" upon me now
e) these 'new' terms don't even match the charges in the invoice
PrepLogic have dodged every question I have asked them about this and keep offering me different deals (like 2nd car salesmen).
I have cancelled payments and I'm now taking legal advise.
In future I'm only using TrainSignal and CBTNuggets.Wednesday, November 18, 2009 12:44 PM -
Just beware when you cancel the Smart Training dvd that you PAID for becomes useless they cancell the licence key on their side you will have to hack it to use it. Which is unfairWednesday, November 18, 2009 2:48 PM

i can't remember the limit, but you may have 60 days to dispute the charge with your credit card company. if you feel they were misleading, dispute the charge with your credit card company. i have done this countless times when i have been done wrong and have ALWAYS gotten my money back. It is bad for the merchant on several fronts so they will generally refund your $$, voluntarily, as soon as the CC company contacts them. You could also throw them a bone and warn them and give them a day or 2. Just make sure when you dispute, you always send one version via certified mail, which is necessary to fully protect your legal rights. Most CC companies will honor them and cooperate anyway (they want you to be a happy customer), but its always good to cover all your bases. I usually start over the phone and then do the mailing as a due diligence measure. Good luckSunday, November 29, 2009 12:49 PM

hey,
Are you from the US ? apparently they do that to the people outside the US. we must find someone who is from the US and who is willing to help us to stop Preplogic from stealing money from us.
i am from France and you ? you have to pay for the organisms who state that they can help you struggling against PrepLogic but i can't be sure that i'll win.
so try to find someone in the US to help us. i'll do my best too.

Let's set the record straight on this one. "Darey 1" has 2 posts. Obviously a troll. "Hookie 101" has 4 posts. Obviously a troll. But that's to be expected from a forum.
Here's my objection. My company has been using Preplogic successfully for 2 years now. Excellent training. Better than most others. I challenge anyone to dispute that. That's not to say there aren't other good providers out there. We don't use this company exclusively but we do use them extensively. And they're good. Period. What I object to is newbie trolls complaining about their lack of experience and dedicate and blaming anyone else, including a company, for their failures.
My company first began using these guys when one of our techs was using them for practice exams. They have a program whereby you can test their software out and if you keep it they put you on a payment plan for the rest. If you don't like it you have to cancel. This is how we first tested their CBT training out. Now we simply buy their training outright. No need to test it anymore. What I have seen below is several newbies who didn't cancel and then they're upset they got charged. I thought this was an excellent way to do things. Every other time it's been a ____ shoot buying training. But you have to know what you're getting into before you agree. This holds true for anything and everything you do.
There are a lot of crappy training companies out there. The barrier to entry is extremely low especially when braindumps are so prevalent. But if you're not interested in actually getting trained or certified, don't bite on the carrot to try there training out if you're going to forget to cancel.
Here's another look at some other people's experiences. Training Review , Their Guarantees , Another Review
So once and for all, let's end this garbage about this company and others. More importantly, as veterans of this industry and this forum, let's not allow newbie trolls to force irrational conversation rooted in retaliation and resentment.

hey JimGuy,
no dount that you are another cheater like them. you said that because you haven't been a victim. if we have a free trial period, there's nothing to say here. i tell you why. has Kyle Corpin proposed you to buy a whole package for €99 and then you received an invoice at €1600? he proposed me the package at €99 and once he had my credit card number he stolen my money. €1612.95 exactly. i finally cancalled all and stoped paying.
No doubt that the training quality is excellent but the sell technique is nauseating. they cheat people from outside the US and who don't speak english natively like mother language.
so if you are not like them, don't stand on their behalf.
Vu BinhWednesday, February 10, 2010 5:02 PM -
Wait just one second here. Do not go around harassing and name calling. I am not a cheat and you are not helping your argument to suggest that anyone who does not agree with you is. I have no interest in participating in a name calling, finger pointing expedition. If someone truly stole your money, you simply call your bank. This is why governments around the world have enacted credit card protection laws. I enjoy a professional discussion - even an argument from time to time. You're correct. My experience has been positive. I recommend them along with a small handful of other reputable companies. And I have no issue with you raising your concerns. But you're crossing the line in my opinion. I've been in IT likely longer than you've been on this planet. And I would caution you to becareful with your slander.

i apologize. i am so sorry about calling your name but i can't stand hearing about people complaining from time to time about preplogic. this means that they don't stop with their manner of sell. and this also means it was not a misunderstanding but that's the way preplogic allows their guys to gain money. ok i don't have any business with preplogic anymore but do you agree with me that's not the way we do business ? thanksWednesday, February 10, 2010 6:41 PM
-
No I don't agree with you at all. The only objection I've read is that you didn't cancel your trial and they billed you according to the terms and conditions of the offer. That's not bad business, illegal, or unethical. If you didn't follow through with your obligations as a customer, that's your fault. Now if you feel you weren't properly explained the terms or if you didn't read the terms that accompanied your purchase, I certainly understand your frustration. But to be fair, you admit English is not your first language. Is it possible you simply didn't understand as well as you should have? I think you would agree this is probably what did happen. As such, slandering a company because you didn't understand is not at all fair to that company.
I argue this point so passionately because 1) our experiences with the company have been all positive and 2) you responded so aggressively and irrationally. Like me, you admit this company has great training. You're simply unhappy with your sales experience. I would suggest that if you had kindly explained your situation to them they may have been more agreeable. But if you interfaced with them in a similar manner that you did here (i.e. careless accusations, slandering) I can understand the company's reluctance to assist you. We would say you "shoot first, ask questions later." I encourage you to look at both sides of the story and accept some amount of blame for any situation. Rarely are arguments and disagreements one sided as most people project them.
My company will continue to use Preplogic because they offer great training and good service. At least to us they do. Time for me to move on from this discussion.

We take great pride in our customer service. And we feel we have the best products on the market. However, we also feel that our customers should have an opportunity to try out our training before they commit to being billed the remaining balance. This is why we allowed you to try our training for 30 days for just $99. When you did not cancel we began your payment plan just as the program detailed. We would never expect a customer to use our training without trying it out first. And we go to great lengths to fully detail and explain all details of the program so there is no confusion.
Below is an excerpt from the email you were sent immediately after purchase. Please notice that this email fully details in writing the program and your commitment if you do not cancel. Please notice the clear language used to describe your payments, the terms of use, and the Money Back Guarantee. Everything our sales representative Sharon B explained to you over the phone.
Rune, you made good use of our training, using it well beyond the 30 day trial. You made no attempt to cancel and you continued to use the training until you were shut off for non-payment. I don't think it's unreasonable for this company to expect training for services you have been using.
We take training and customer service very seriously. If we have done anything wrong, please give us an opportunity to fix it. We're eager to help. We're eager to help the IT community improve their lives just as we have been for over 12 years now.

Hi,
I thought I was alone, but you can simply google Preplogic Fraud and find out that there are more and more people who have bad experience with PrepLogic.
I paid $99.00 for the 30 days trial access to all libraries and I was told that to cancel everything I just simply have to inform PrepLogic that I do not want to use their libraries any more and all can be done so simply and straight away, last week I found out that they charged my credit card another $191.00.
It wasn't easy to get some answers as all I heard was that they have a good payment plan.
Suddenly I found out that I have to pay remaining 10-11 installments of $191.00 for 2 year access.
Nobody never informed about the total amount which will be almost $2400.00.
I was told that it's all moneyback guarantee and I can simply cancel my order any time. Not only during the trial.
If I knew the total amount, if some one from PrepLogic was kind enough to introduce that to me - $2400.00 - I would never go for this as it's over my budget and I will not use even 5% of it, as the access allows for 1-3 swaps a month - I can't even imagine a single person who could pass 24 - 72 Certificates it 2years time. This is probably a good offer for a business having own IT department rather than for a single person as me, but maybe that's the way the PrepLogic gets their clients.
I've been trying to speak to PrepLogic, but it doesn't look like they want to hear any thing what you are saying. They are far from resolving issues, and what really counts for them it's number of customers, happy or not - doesn't matter. What matters is that they will be charging you for staff you will not even use.
This is NOT (and it's far from) a proffesional way of selling 'products'.
I can't afford that payment and I will never use those materials, but PrepLogic simply doesn't care.
I will never ever recommend their service to any one and try to warn everyone I know against any kind of business with PrepLogic.
thanks,

I too was scammed by Pre-Logic and will do everything I can to fight them. I filed a complaint on them through the BBB, but I did not think about the FTC. I will be talking with them shortly. They did the same thing to me with the unlimited service, bait, hide the fine print or don't talk about it, then bill away. I canceled my purchase within two hours of payment once I saw that it was a monthly bill. They said they would cancel my order and credit me back. Now it is almost a year later and they are showing me as delinquent on the account. It is sad that their marketing is shady at best as they do have a good product. They need to learn that business by deception without integrity will not help them. They keep posting on this thread with ____ like "We take great pride in our customer service." but they have terrible customer service and will say anything to make you think you are taken care of, but never follow through with it. Run away fast from their terrible trade practices.

I smell a witch hunt, by a largely ignorant group of individuals. If you are incapable of reading the documentation put forth to you, please don't take the Microsoft certification tests, you only further water down the pool of good, educated talent that can get jobs while you guys sit on the sidelines crying about your lack of understanding and how its someone else's fault you're uneducated and ignorant.
You sound like crybabies, understand that. Your gripe should not be with Preplogic, you paid for access, and you got it. You cancelled accordingly? Oh wait, you didn't. Strike 1
You come on a public forum, and want to bash the company hoping they have no faces that will show up and you can just dig at them publicly when this is a private matter that should be resolved between 2 interested parties. Strike 2
You have given no proof to your claims, but Preplogic reps were nice enough to come here, and showcase your mistakes and STILL offered to resolve issues with you, which you promptly snubbed your nose at. Strike 3
Go away, trolls. Take your 70 series study exams, roll them up nicely, and beat yourself about the head and shoulders with them, you'll educate yourself just as well as you have educated others on this matter.

Hi,
After looking through all mails I got from Preplogic, the information give above is correct. Way down in an email I found this information.
I still think this is not proper information, but this might be because I live in Norway, and here there are strict rules for how this information should be given to a customer. And in Norway, this is not enough. But I now understand that not all countries have this reguirements.Rune

ProLogic Unlimited training programs are most certainly a scam. I recommend anyone looking for training applications to stay away from ProLogic products. And make sure you contact the Better Business Bureau to explain your current situation with the ProLogic Company. I think it's important to IT professionals know what applications and programs you can trust for training. And with so many other options out there and they're clear record of fraud that it's important that we sound the bells and the other IT professionals know about possible problems with this company. I'm happy some people had positive experiences with this company. But with so many options out there why take the risk

I also, ran into problems with Preplogic. My biggest concern is the requirement to only accept payments though a credit card. I signed up for the total Account package in December and called to cancel before the 30 day period. Spoke to Kyle Corpan orginally which suguested that I try the total access program. In January before the trial I explained I do not have funds avaliable for the program but was told that I could be put a 3 month account hold as soon as I faxed my Drivers License and Credit card to them. That was a big mistake. I tried to cancel several times during the three month account hold and have been told several times that "Your on a legal binding agreement" Then I was charged my first payment this past month for the first amount on my credit card. I explained once again do not have funds available. The worst part for me is they were not willing to make any other payment agreements with me and they only insisted on charging the one credit card that I had on file. This forced me to report the incedent in full detail to may credit card company and cancel my credit card. Now I may be in legal pursude for nearly $2000. This entire ordeal streed me out. Had they be willing to send me paper bills in the mail like any other company like even car payments I may have been more than willing to continue on with the program.
I am trying to get established in Infromation Technology and this ordeal is another finanical setback that prevents me from even getting certfication. Life sucks... Seomtimes ,I think the rich will always freed on the poor and their will never be a middle class... :(

Preplogic Fraud:
On May 7th, a charge was made to my debit card from Preplogic in the amount of $499.00 for an upgraded training program that I did not authorize. I filed a complaint with my bank to investigate the charge after the bank informed me that the transaction could not be reversed. After numerous phone calls I was told by Michelle Bink (Preplogic Accounting Department) that they(Preplogic) would refund my money back to my account if I filled out and returned additional paperwork. The paperwork they requested for me to fill out was a credit form consisting of an area where they required an imprint of my credit card and security code along with my drivers license and my signature; all of which I declined to complete as it would give them complete control of my checking account. It would also waive my rights to any chargebacks if they misused my card as they did here. I obtained legal counsel of which an email was sent demanding prompt refund of the $499.00 that they had illegally taken from my account. On May 12th, Preplogic refunded the $499.00 back to my account however, they immediately charged my account another $191.34 which they had already taken out on the 8th of May. This simply amounts to wire fraud and theft of which I have submitted a complaint with the FBI's Computer and Internet fraud unit. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the State of Florida as well as the Consumer Protection Agency and other law enforcement agencies. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND DECEPTIVE! I live in the USA!

Tried PrepLogic myself and failed. Try TestOut LabSim- great material to learn with videos, labs, exams, etc. Also visit Mike Meyers web site TotalSeminars and ANY books by Mike Meyers to study with especially books that go through everything step by step - Passports. Not sure if there is one for what you are studying for at this time but I am sure Mike has covered it. Any I am still paying PrepLogic who won't get off my back that I didn't understand when it is not what was stated when I ordered along with constand calls. I want to know are they going bankrupt that they have to rip off folks to stay in business. I am waiting for I got your money and since we are out of business or bankrupt you have to pay again or more. Anyway other test sites/materials are better along with just purchase what I want without demanding what I don't want.Friday, May 28, 2010 7:53 AM

They cheat folks in the USA as well! $99 dollars turned into $1895 so i am surprised with those saying $999 unlimited access!Friday, May 28, 2010 8:00 AM

Training and Payment issues by Preplogic.
I am sure many people around us did not report about the preplogic. I am in Canada, I received a promotion email by preplogic that for 4 days period, they are offering all latest 2008 Server course for only $99. I oredered that by my credit card, they confirmed it, then they send me the email which shows hidden price that remaining $ 1000/ or $1800 ( I dont remember exactly) has to be paid in installment.
I was lucky, I saw that email and I called their sales department, leave message there. On the same day or next, their manager called, I also send them email to cancel my order. I talked to their manager about the cancellation of my order becuase preplogic make miss commitment. He told me that it takes 30 days, and it's risk free for 30 days, also told me that he shipped my order and he adviced me to use it for 30 days then he will cancelled. I insisted him in any case cancel my order.
In Nov, I went to visit outside canada for three months, In DEC2009, I noticed that PREPLOGIC, start chargin my credit card, I called to credit card dispute department, sent them all the proof so they reserve my amount back to credit card. After that, from preplogic, they were not admitting even I shown them their email, my cancellation request, every thing but they not admitted and sending me mails that they are taking legal action. In final, I contact with the fraud department of Credit Card, and tell them all the story.
I personlly come on the conclusion that, NEVER EVER make purchase these type of training providers / or not accept any promotion email except the big companies like microsoft. May be they little bit costly but atleast they wont charge credit card illegally and not make these type of business. I also requested here that before purchasing any thing on net, please, read it very clearly and closly monitor you monthly bank statements. DONT TRUST THEM...
I also tried to log in and start my training for 2008 they provided but its not accessable even I paid their $99 and I did not claim this amount. Its the 100% thruth. I've all email for proof.

I have a bad experience with this company and I suggest that don't ever go back to this company and let all your friends know about this. "100% satisfaction for every customer" - WHAT'S A BIG LAIR.
We're sorry to hear that you've had a less-than-perfect experience with our company. Please give us a chance to resolve this issue. Our goal is 100% satisfaction for every customer, and we certainly don't want you to feel as if you were 'stung'. The vast majority of the time when we hear complaints it is a result of a simple misunderstanding. It will be impossible for us to answer your questions or concerns here on a public forum, but please contact us at preplogic.com/support and I promise that someone will assist you in a timely manner. We look forward to hearing from you to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Sunday, June 06, 2010Hi,
I'm trying to launch CCNA Practice Exam, which I downloaded couple months ago, and just after I click on the 'begin exam', I get product authentication window asking to authenticate the software. None of those options work. I downloaded the file (preplogic.pac) which I tried to use, but it didn't work.
I am unable to use your software now.
Please advise.

Monday, June 07, 2010Hello Thomas,
Thanks so much for contacting us. It is always a pleasure to assist you. In further researching your account, I see that you added CCNA training material to your library back in February. When you retire your certification training, your LearnSmart Video Training and Practice Exam automatically deactivates. The other training material such as Mega Guide, Audio Training, and etc are yours to keep providing you have saved them to your computer. If you would like to utilize your Practice Exam, you would need to retire your current training and add CCNA training to your library. Tomasz, I hope this has answered your question. If you are in need of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us through this ticket. Thanks again, Tomasz.
Sincerely,

That's excellent news!!!
when I was asking your representative - how long can I use these materials for - I was told 'everything you download is yours' an you can keep it for ever.
I see that was another one of your lies..
By the way - it's a great offer 3 swaps a month, and when you retire your material - you simply can't use it.. one exam every 10 days.. great, so it's like 1400 pages every 10 days. You guys create great offers, and of course with couple of lies it will always sell better.
I must tell all my friends about your great way of helping IT profesionalls.
You're just simply the best in misleading people.
All the best!

No reply from you, I'm not surprised..
Ok, this is the part of a chat I had with Donnie:
you: right... I'm not sure i understand..
Donnie: Ok, give me your question
you: do i get a month access ?? or I buy those materials..
Donnie: Everything that you download is yours to keep forever
you: ok,
According to what she said I can use my downloaded materials including practice exams. What you are saying now is complitely different. You mislead me again.
I want access code to materials I've paid for and downloaded.

A bunch of g_d damned thieves that lie and prey on you!!!
This all started about 1 1/2 yrs ago when I received a 30 day promo for upgrading my current training that was for the CopmTia Net+.
PrepLogic offered an extended training option on a 30 day trail... so I took their word and ordered the upgrade... OMG what bull ____ has my life been since !!!!
It took ~3weeks to receive my cd's, that did NOT work as expected and I had bukoo helpdesk tickets that were all ignored. Then after more BS I want to cancel and they said YOU CAN'T CANCEL... YOU HAVE A CONTRACT... blah blah blah.
So they widdled me down to a SINGLE, ONE TIME PAYMENT of ONLY $28.00 to settle matters and re-discuss the termination options. So I gave in (thinking I was going to get my other CD's) and gave my CC# as usual business.
I get a MAJOR surprise from my bank that I have just been scammed and ripped off by well over 10x the amount and PrepLogic said that was the amount they DECIDED to go ahead and process... WHAT THE ____!!!
==================================
They take your credit card number and charge various charges that are NOT even close to the agreement, nor are what was advertised, then try to sue you to get more to pay off bullshit charges that have nothing to do with the original agreement.
They keep offering various pay back options and then rip off your credit card and never close your account...
I have receive over 100 emails and phone calls from these loosers and they are full of ____ when it comes to keeping their word.
They also offer a university degree program.... when you sign up to find out more about on-line IT certs/degrees it is these jokers and now they got your private information again...they prey on your credit card info and play way too many head games.
I hope the looser bitches burn in ____!!!!
Go here for more info:
http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/preplogic-c338509.html#c778606
I have had a variety of the above problems with this fricken jack ____ company that has ripped me of several times and now they want my credit card AGAIN to "cancel my account and drop charges".... WTF preplogic you have screwed me over so many times already!!!
OMG I hope you all lose everything and your suck ____ business blows away!!!
You're the most fricken looser rip off thieving company that has ever worked the IT marked

Well WOW what did I start ?
Sorry to all the who have been stung, as I was assured by the Preplogic MD that this just a one off misunderstanding from an over Zealous salesman.
This was 1 hour after I had posted on the forum and I recieved a full refund and appology.
Though they did cancel my full term test package I bought from them (a bit petty), but as that started it all i was quite happy!
By the way you can call me all the names you like as i'm grown up, have children and help educate adults with learning difficulties.
Never been called troll before ha ha.
As a foot note when you use any company, always put the company name in the search engine followed with the words- problems, conned, and ripped off.
You will at least walk in with yours eyes open.

Rubel Khan,
How about getting me some help over at preplogic.com. I purchased a practice exam for MS Exam 70-680 that came with a free exam voucher. I made an attempt to redeem the exam voucher offer and was told I had to wait 30 days. No where in the offer I purchased stated anything about a 30 day wait. I was prepared to take the test when I purchased the exam as my final study preparation. My 30 days were up on 11-9-2010 and now I am being told it will take 4 to 6 weeks before I get gift card to purchase the exam voucher, another requirement that was not mentioned when I purchased the exam. Up until now I had be satisfied with the preplogic products I have purchased, but this will make me less likely to purchase future products from preplogic. As I am re-certifying for all the certs I hold this is unfortunate for both preplogic and myself. I have faxed my voucher request form but have not been contacted on its status. I feel that preplogic intentionally misled me with this offer and should revise their policy to make sure customers understand the long process (up to 2 1/2 months) required to redeem the exam voucher offer. When I did a search of preplogic and scam it returned hundreds of complaints about misleading offers and unresponsive support from preplogic. I truly hope that preplogic will honor my purchase by sending me the gift card or exam voucher ASAP.
Friday, November 12, 2010 12:42 AM -
Regarding preplogic -
I was also burned by preplogic a couple of years ago. I bought a practice exam with a "free test" - only to be told that I couldn't redeem the test voucher for a lengthy period of time (I had planned to take the test a few days later - this was NOT spelled out in the terms). So I was offered to change my free test for another voucher - long story short Preplogic never came through on the exam voucher. NOW - to add insult to injury, they (and their partner Cramsession) are sending me 2-4 emails a day with misleading and highly questionable sales techniques. Calls to their supportline to resolve and emails to their abuse department have not stopped the SPAM - in fact after my last round of support calls I think the number of their UCE's with deceptive subjectlines in my mailbox actually INCREASED.
Do not purchase preplogic products - do not give them your email address - you'll NEVER get off their distribution list. BEWARE!
FWIW: I've purchased my last 15 practice exams from ucertify and I've been very happy with their products.

Freudian Slip???
This is the response given me after experiencing a very similar circumstance as Vu and, many others, it appears. They trap you with a very clever and subtle sales technique and then give the a grand appearance of "working with you" when voicing a complaint. They could very easily cancel the so called agreement but, they refuse to and only will offer reduced terms. All they do is done in such a way as to fully appear to be above board and your fault for not reading the fine print and/or any "popups" displayed when processing or accessing their training packages. Win, Win for them, Lose, Lose for you.
Hi *****,
Thank for taking my call today and explaining your circumstances to
me. As we discussed, I will do everything that I can to help you in
anyway that I can. We discussed that you main interest is PMP and that
you would like to be more familiar with the IT information as well. We
talked about and I offered to get you into a one year program for
$1288.00. You have already paid $199.00 toward your purchase, which
leaves a reaming balance of $1089.00 that may be paid in 11 more
installments of $99.00 per month. You also asked for a discount for
payment in full and we agreed to a 10% off the remaining balance. This
means if you want to pay in full, you will save $108.90. *******, I am
glad we were able to speak. This price reduction saves you almost
$2400.00 off your purchase price. I certainly hope this will be
helpful to you. Because of the nature of our billing cycle, I am only
able to offer the discounted price until the close of business (5:30
pm EST) ***(next day)*** I look forward to following up with
you tomorrow.

Preplogic is bascially organized crime, we can all do our part to stop it and it better be stopped soon.
For those who were illegally ripped off by Preplogic, you can go to www.ic3.gov to report the financial abuses. The same thing as the previous complaint report, the more victims report their crimes, the more likely and sooner preplogic will be halted by law for their current illegal activities. The less money you will lose from your bank account. It is a race against time, the sooner all the complaints are filed, the less money that will be missing from your bank.

I strongly agree since I just got stung by Preplogic even though I cancelled my 30 day trial in time customer services insist they never received the 'Ticket' in spite of proof of it and the email I sent to the sales rep who sold me the product. Lucky enough I used a credit card so should have limited financial impact hopefully! I recommend Cisco Netacad http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/netacad/index.html for CCNA and IT Essentials (Comptia A +) for good on-line resources and unlimited access to the resources after completing the course.

I, too, was lured into PrepLogic's unethical business practices. They baited me with the $1/month trial of their online courses (CCNA) which were 4 years old i.e. outdated. However, I had some extra time to invest in studying, so I called to ask that if I continued with their online program, if I could cancel at anytime and was told that I could. Then they switched that agreement once they got the credit card number and told me I was obligated for over $2000 in future payments....WHAT????? They said they emailed me some contract which I never received... but then again they are SPAM kings with all the crap email they send to bait their victims,so it's no wonder I did not sort through all their spam emails. I never signed any agreement. So I cancelled that credit card and they incessantly pester me with phone calls with threats. THEY NEED PUT OUT OF BUSINESS with these UNETHICAL/ILLEGAL SCAMMING business practices. There are about 200 complaints about them with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), where they proudly own a dismal D- rating. Also many complaints at RipOffReports.... if you are smart (unlike me), you would have googled "PREPLOGIC SCAM" before initiating any trial & read about all the previous victims they have preyed upon.

Well what can I say I’ve officially been ripped off by Preplogic.
Never thought I would be caught out like this but I did.
I returned my cancellation ticket 7 hours late (according to them)and they got me.
Don’t waste your time trying to reason with these people they are sharks without mercy.
A WARNING TO YOU ALL STAY AWAY FROM PREPLOGIC.
I was making inquiries about the A+ course offered by Preplogic and was sold a trial of the course for 30 days at a cost of $99.
This was purchased on 7/14/2011 at 3.51pm.
I submitted a cancellation ticket via the company’s website on 08/13/2011 which was received at 10.51pm.
I was then informed that this was outside the 30 day trail period by 7 hours and I could now no longer cancel the purchase and I would now be charged $2893.09 for the Ultimate Access course
An amount of $263.01 was then charged on 08/14/2011.
I have tried several times to resolve this matter directly with the company even offering the $263.01 as a form of cancellation.
This has been refused.
I have now been offered a cancellation fee of $623.75. – the 362.01 already paid.
I was informed at the time of purchase that the A+ training material was only accessible as part of the Ultimate Access course and the $99 was for that purpose.
I have sent a complaint to the BBB and every complaints, scams, rip off report sites that I can find and suggest everyone else does the same.
Lets get these crooks out of business.
And if anyone want to pay them a visit let me know.
