Windows 2008 Certificate Services and Tanjay RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have some serious problems at a customer site connecting the Tanjay phones to OCS.

The basic setup like DHCP, DNS and NTP is working, but when it comes to downloading the root certificate, the tanjay tries but then exits with "Cannot validate..."

We have a Windows Server 2008 Enterprise CA with an Offline RootCA and an online issuing SubCA. The certificates are published in AD. I also checked the blog article from Jens Trier Rasmussen, but this didn´t help either... I am able to access the certsrv website with Internet Explorer, and with the link provided in the OC Phone Edition Deployment Guide I am also able to download the certificate with IE but the Tanjay can´t.

    Any hint would be great.

    Thx

    Chris

The Tanjay has limited number of root certificates, it is quite possible that the Tanjay needs Win2008 roots and chain added.

    DOMAIN\user

    DOMAIN.COM\user

    user@domain.com
