Why Email Activity Owner is Queue Owner? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    Why is that the e-mails received in a CRM queue are automatically assigned to the owner of the queue? Can we change this to someone else? Like another CRM user who is interacting with the customer who has sent that e-mail?

  • Hi Gagandeep, I think it is logical, because a queue can has 1 owner and only 1 e-mail address.

    If you have been assigned a E-mail but believe it should be assigned to someone else, you must first accept it and then reassign it.

  • Or do a work flow, and create a generic email/user for que.  Thats what I did.
