How do you copy backup volumes? -- OR, How do you find the command console (i.e., "DOS Prompt") for Windows Home Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an HP Storage device running an older version of Windows Home Server (2008?).   I have seen references to a "command console" but I cannot find how to open it.  I have looked in the connector software console and in the web-based remote console.  Both are purely graphical as far as I can see.

I need to do this becuase I need to copy some of my backup volumes, which supposedely are on the D:\ drive.   This drive does not appear in the shared folders tab in the graphical consoles.

Can someone please let me know how to copy the backup volumes ?  Either via the "command console" or some other method ?
