Make sure that users have atleast read privileges for the custom entity and refresh (Press F5) browser window. Also you can verify that entity Workspace Area is checked ( File->Options->Workplace )

I am able to view as an administartor. I created a new role and gave the user all the privilieges for the custom entity. But still the user is unable to view the custom entity in the navigation pane in the main CRM page (where we have settings, workplace etc.,)Monday, July 18, 2011 4:13 PM

In CRM main screen, click on File button (on top of ribbon bar) and then select Options then go to Workplace Tab and checked the Site Gorups if they are unchecked.

Hi - I went to tool\Options\workplace tab - I do not see the custom area in the workplace as both administrator as well as an user. I see in the General tab in the default pane drop down box the custom area.
