    hi
    i have just bought a new pc with a new hard drive and was wondering if it was possible to use my disc that windows sent me ?

    No, if it has already  been used, unless you completely remove it from the previous PC. Then, you must activate by telephone.

    yeah i was going to do that but how can the disk tell?!!! got a new amd phenom 9850 but got 8gb of ram and as i only have xp pro 32 bit i gotta upgrade it do ou know if windows does discount for the other disc or anything?
