    i have dell inspiron 6400 laptop when i reinstall winxp and enter my sticker key it displayed invalid key

    how to make it genuine?

    The problem here is that the current Key is a GeoBlocked Volume License Key for Windows XP Pro.
    I suspect that the Key on your COA Sticker is one for XP Home.
    You reinstalled using non-genuine media
    You will need to reinstall using genuine OEM Media of the same edition as the COA sticker on your PC, or using the Dell Recovery disks. If you don't have the recovery disk set from Dell, you may be able to get a set by contacting them.
