FotoCanvas won't let me work with photographs since OneCare installed.

  I use PhotoCanvas, part of ACDSee, to improve my photos.
  Since loading OneCare, the picture appear in the window to be improved,
  but a window appears over the photograph saying , "This file does not appear to be a valid image file."
  Preventing me from making any changes.
  Any suggestions ?
