So everything was working fine and then all of a sudden communicator voice and video stoped.

If i do logging it looks like the call is conecting and that everything works fine on the servers.

But when i try to do a validation it only says: Failure 0x8007200A The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist.

Windows logs looks fine and everything else does to except that i get a error on the clients about certificate but if the cert would be wrong it would not be posible to log in to the server and do IM right?

Well im going to troubleshoot some more and se what i can digg up..

  • Someone has been messing with your AD

Could you be more specific where you get the error message?

Maybe on what portion of the validation?

  • I too experienced this exact problem, which was a surpise on a deployment that was previously fully working. I used an alternative AD user to login to the OCS server and run the validation, all worked.

    Hope this helps
