PC Plays Harmonica Sound Without Prompting

My parents have a Dell Inspiron 6000. It will suddenly play a short song without prompting. It sounds like a harmonica. We can't figure out why it is doing this but it is loud and annoying. I've checked Dell support and there were two entries in their forum from 2005 and 2008 about this problem but no solution.

I assume these many months later you have found a solution. I also had your problem with the same computer type. It turns out to be the screensaver (default in the pc) where it rolls through some photos and one is a little girl playing a harmonica. You need to go to the screensavers and turn off the audio.
