Problem with Event Viewer

Question
-
OS - Windows Home Basic that came preinstalled with my Dell Inspiron 15 R.
I have created a custom view in Event Viewer that tracks the issues (warning & error only) occured in the last 12 hours. But when I try to close the app, an error message comes that THERE ARE A FEW DIALOG BOXES OPEN, PLEASE CLOSE THEM BEFORE YOU CAN EXIT THE APP. I guess its only appears when i try to check that custom view..Is there any way out? Its quite irritating as there is no open dialog box to close. I have to manually terminate the app by using Task Manager. Or is it a bug in Windows Home Basic?
