  • Many of the spam posts have been deleted, most the users have been reported and will be banned. I use the following links to report spammers to be banned:

    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/5041.how-to-ban-or-report-a-technet-or-msdn-user-account.aspx

I first check the user profile and their activity tab to see if there is any legimate activity. There never is. I flag all spam posts as abusive, but only a moderator can delete the post, and the only way to ban the user is to report them in the above link.

  • How fast the spam posts are deleted depends on the moderators in the forum. I think at least 50 spam posts in the Server General forum have already been deleted. And I am already getting email confirmation that users I reported an hour ago have been banned. So people are working on this. If messages are not getting cleaned up in a forum, flag them as abusive, then perhaps try to contact a moderator.

on the msdn forums. This person always creates random accounts

and spams sports related videos. They need a full IP-Ban, and possibly

legal action taken against them.(there are probably many many more accounts

made by this person) Very Respectfully, Paul Ishak

No everything I saw has been cleaned up(so far as I can see), I reported about 100 or more threads.
