Genuine, activated Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, asking for activation again

Question
-
Hi guys, seeking help here.
I bought my PC 4 years ago from a shop and the windows is genuine (i think?) and it was already activated as shown in the System screen. After a few years of not updating it, i finally got around updating my windows and boom, my screen turned black with the "Build 7601 This copy of Windows is not genuine" at the bottom, with the annoying activation pop ups. i cant recall any activation/ product keys any longer. Help...? Thanks much.

The installed Product Key is the Default Key - and can never be activated.
There is evidence of corruption present...
