  • How does one share an application using live mesh, and is it safe and secure?

  • The Live Mesh service and product that is the focus of this forum doesn't do application sharing.

  • Thanks Steve.  But why does Amit Mital on the Live Mesh blog say that …your data and applications available from anywhere?  I think I'm kind of confused as to what Live Mesh can actually do.

  • Because Live Mesh is actually the platform and it is open to developers. There will be application sharing as well as data sharing. On the developer side they have already demonstrated some shared apps.
    That said, this beta is for the Live Mesh client that allows you to share data and sync data - it also allows you to use Remote Desktop for PCs in your Mesh.
