  • Question

  • I was setting my wife laptop up to use Microsoft accounts, here laptop was running on a local admin account so I created a windows account and merged them on the laptop but I made a typo in the email address so I cant verify the address.  when I try to change/correct the address in the lap top so it will verify the account it says the email address is not available.  but I can sign in to the micro soft account on the web page with the correct account and the also the one with the typo. how can I get them corrected with out deleting the account on the computer and loosing all the settings and files
