.NET Core MVC Application RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello There,

I just completed building a .net core MVC application. The following are the application components:

    - The application uses angular 5 for the front-end

    - It consumes a .NET 4.6.1 Web API services

    - It Consumes a .net core 2.2 web API services

I would like to know the recommended SOFTWARE (.NET CORE, ....) and HARDWARE (type of server, processor, memory and disk space) specs to deploy the application on IIS 8.5 web server? Also need to know if IIS supports hosting .net core 2.2 MVC /.NET core Web API application side by side with another MVC/Web API applications targeting the .NET 4.6 framework

  • Hi A. Saoud,

    Thank you for posting here.

For your question is more related to MVC, you could post a new thread in MVC forum for suitable support.

The CLR Forum discuss and ask questions about .NET Framework Base Classes (BCL) such as Collections, I/O, Regigistry, Globalization, Reflection. Also discuss all the other Microsoft libraries that are built on or extend the .NET Framework, including Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF), Charting Controls, CardSpace, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF), Point of Sale (POS), Transactions.

    Best Regards,
