  • Hi,

How would you define speaker? As a person holding speaches or the equipment emitting sound in a stereo?

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is an extremely versatile system, and I am sure it can be done. However, forums such as these focus mainly on technical aspects. What you are requesting is a solution for speaker management which might be available as an ISV-addon or can be configured/developed for your needs by one of the many Dynamics CRM consultancies around the world, where my suggestion is to select one geographically close to you.

Check the Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace for available ISV solutions.

  • Hi Gustaf,

I would like to thank you for a quick reply.

Speaker is defined as a person holding speeches. The process should be as follows.

Need to send an email to members to become as a speaker at a conference.

Requires the potential speaker to send in an abstract which then has to be vetted and scored to allow speakers to be chosen.

Do you suggest that it need to be developed with in the crm using workflows and other required entities?

    Thank you.

  • I think that you might want to have a look at what is called the event accelerator. It can handle some of the functionality that you are looking for. Check out the following thread on LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/groups/Event-management-accelerator-CRM-2011-21231.S.41086340

You will probably need further customizations ontop of this, or if you like, ontop of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. For instance you will need to separate the conferences, speakers, subject areas, speaker applications, speaker abstract submissions etc. Exaclty how and what needs to be done is, as I mentioned above, something skilled CRM consultants will be happy to help you out with.
