SQL 2005 Security Update fails to apply KB954606

Hi

I have a patch available for my SQL 2005 cluster but it fails to install on both nodes.
The following article appears to be the relevant article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925976

The solution appears to be to re-install the instance which isn't really an option, does anyone have a work-around for this?

Hi Paul,

Have you installed SQL2005 SP3? If not, maybe your can try it, and see if it could let you install that file.

Thanks, I wasn't aware that it has been released yet - I'll install and raise another thread if that doesn't resolve it!
