Office Validation Issues RRS feed

  • I have the same issue. Its not an error its that everytime we try to download a new template you have to go throught the validation cycle. Which is endless. I have a copy I bought in a store installed it, activated it and validated it.

    Now what?

        Thank you for visiting the Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) program forum. In an effort to focus more attention on your particular situation, I am going to split your post into a new thread.  Splitting threads are done to mitigate confusion caused by more than one posting about similar   topics, allowing us to focus on each customer individually. Next we need for you to run the MGA Diagnostic Tool and provide us with the results like the other poster did in his thread. 



    Please follow the steps below as it could resolve your issue. If need be, provide us with additional information to determine the cause of this issue.

    Make sure you are logged on as an Administrator.

    Confirm you are using the most current version of Genuine Advantage by clicking Validate Office on the website below:

    If the above steps do not resolve your issue, continue below.

    The MGADT website will attempt to resolve the validation errors you are experiencing with Office.

    Please run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Test (MGADT) so that I may analyze the results.

    By clicking the link below, you will download the MGADT.  Then click the Run button. Then click the Run button again. Then click the Continue button to perform the diagnostic. The Windows tab should show, click the Copy button to paste your report to the clipboard.  Then paste the report into a New Post on this Forum by adding a post in it and pressing Ctrl V (to paste the text). Clicking the OK button will clear the Diagnostic window. Here is the download link:

    Please tell us about the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for your copy of Microsoft Office.

    1. What edition/version of Office do you have? To find your edition/version click Start, Word Options, Resources, About,there you should find the title of your edition.

    ·         Office Home and Student

    ·         Office Mobile

    ·         Office Small Business

    ·         Office Professional

    ·         Office Professional Plus

    ·         Office Enterprise

    ·         Office Ultimate

    2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?

    3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering?

    4. Please provide the customer scenario you are experiencing.

    5. DO NOT post the Product Key.
