CRM 4.0 Active Directory broken -Urgent RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have a Development environment of CRM 4.0, Sql Server 2005, Domain name as name\domainnetwork.com in the Active Directory .

    Recently, the Active Directory of the Development environment is broken. Now, when we are trying to configure it again with the new A.D , the CRM 4.0 doesnot respond to the new A.D.

    Can anyone tell us how can this be achieved. Please help me in this regard..

  •  Hi,

    The best method to overcome your problem is to:

    1. Backup Your Database
    2. Uninstall CRM 4.0
    3. Install CRM 4.0 with a 'dummy' organization
    4. Restore the Database backed up in step 1
    5. Go to deployment manager and import the database

    boom this should work again.
