CRM2011 E-mail router Load Data fails RRS feed

  • Question

  • Please, help us to solve this mis-configuration issue.

2011 CRM is installed and working for users with Outllok CRM client for incoming/outgoing emails. I followed recommendations from "Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 E-mail Router Deployment Scenarios". I installed E-mail router on the same CRM server crm.domain.com  Organization name is: orgname (I checked in MSCONFIG_MSCRM database)

When I am configuring the CRM Deployment in E-mail router configuration manager I tried  variation on how to specify a server: https://crm.domain.com:5555/orgname https://crm.domain.com:443/orgname or http://crm.domain.com/orgname  When I click "Load Data", I keep receiving the following error messages:

The E-Mail Router Configuration Manager was unable to retrieve user and queue infromation from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server. This may indicate that the .. CRM server is busy. verify that URL 'https://crm.domain.com' is correct. Additionally, this problem can occur if specified access credentials are insufficient. To try, click Load Data (the underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occured on a receive).

    What else am I missing?

    Thank you for your suggestions!

    Slava

PS This is the snippet from the log file:

  • The issue was fixed by reinstalling E-mail router component. In the incoming configuration "Exchange 2003" has been selected (vs Exchange - that was selected before).

Also, the organization name is case sensitive...
