Paging in Posts RRS feed

    Hi,

    Is there any option to enable paging on the Flat view on a thread? Sometimes its a pain to scroll down to the last post when there are more than 30-40 posts...

    It would be nice if we can limit the number of posts to 25-30 per page.

    Hi Ganesh,

    I think for an unanswered thread its really painful to scroll. But if you think, we can understand that, as far an unanswered thread is considered, we might be reading all the threads; in that scenario scrolling is not a problem, paging is also not required. But if the same thread has more than 50 posts then paging can be used to avoid long time page load.

    For answered thread, we have the option to list answers on top. So i think your suggestion is good in case of unanswered thread if we are considering better performance.

    I actually find the unanswered posts quite interesting too....Sometimes new questions are raised and also different approaches are discussed...

    I agree that page load time would be reduced and it would look cleaner. Hope MSFT implements this :)
