Phone and PC calendars wont sync

  Both phone and Pc are windows based, PC windows 10, Phone windows 8.1.  When I enter an appointment in my phone EG, Sunday 15/5/16 John at 5pm.   I get this information correct on my phone but it is always a day later on my PC calendar.  When I change the appointment in the PC calendar to sync with my phone the phone then gives me the incorrect appointment date.  So I either have the phone right or the PC right but never both with the same appointment time and date.  Any body go an answer?
