Business Management Error - The userid associated with current record is not valid - Unable to start CRM 4.0 RRS feed

  • Question

  • untill monday CRM 4.0 was working fine, without problems. We then tried to install SSRS on the dynamics server, which didnt work out.

but after this attempt I found out that CRM wasnt working anymore at all, it wasnt possible to login to crm either from web client or outlook, then we made a rollback to before installation of SSRS

this didnt help at all, now i get the following error Business Management Error - The userid associated with current record is not valid

Nothing has been done in the SQL database, this is located on another server

ODBC connection have been made and connection is OK

    hope someone can help

  • IIS error.  Did you use the same application pool for SRS that CRM was using?

You may have configured that and have not reversed it.

    run IISreset afterward.

You may wind up doing a repair.

  • Typically SSRS is installed on the database server. In your case, i think you should take a backup of organization database, uninstall crm and then reinstall. After that restore organization database. and import using deployment manager.

  • Checks the groups which are created in AD while installing CRM. They are:-

    PrivUserGroup

Privileged Microsoft Dynamics CRM user group for special administrative functions; including CRMAppPool identity (domain user or NetworkService). The users who configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server must be added to this group.

    SQLAccessGroup

All server processes/service accounts that require access to SQL Server; including CRMAppPool identity (domain user or NetworkService).

    ReportingGroup

All Microsoft Dynamics CRM users are included in this group. This group is updated automatically as users are added and removed from Microsoft Dynamics CRM. By default, all Microsoft Dynamics CRM Reporting Services reports grant Browse permission to this group.

    UserGroup

All Microsoft Dynamics CRM users are included in this group. This group is updated automatically as users are added and removed from Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

    Check these are correct.
