Hi,
I am using Dynamic CRM 2015 on-Premises version 7.0.1.129.I am facing an issue related to export to excel functionality in Dynamic CRM for the past couple of days.
Whenever i click on export to excel and select the "Static Worksheet with records from this page"
The file is downloaded successfully .Even i have converted the xls file to xml and its xml contains data but when i try to open it in excel. The excel shows a blank window like the following screenshot.
Any kind of help/suggestion related to this issue will be appreciated.

This is probably due to a recent security update to Office - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3170008
Your main options are one of:
- Once you've downloaded the spreadsheet, open the properties in Explorer, and Unblock it
- Uncheck the "Enable Protected View for files originating from the internet" option in Excel (it's under Trust Centre Settings)
- Remove the security update

Hi,
We are not able to replicate the issue at our end.
Please con firm if you are following the below steps:
1. Download the Excel sheet with “Static Worksheet” option selected as shown below.2. Save the excel as XML Spreadsheet 2003 document.
3. Open the XML Spreadsheet with Excel a shown below
4. And we can see the results.
Please let us know if it helps.
Thanks
