My (unread) Threads RRS feed

    I'm happy you've added the Unread filter. My problem is that I have 805 threads in "My Threads", and they've all been brought over as Unread. This makes it less useful to me.

    Any chance someone could mark all of "My Threads" before, say, 15-May-2008 as read? Maybe for all moderators and MVPs, or everyone with more than 500 "My Threads"?

    John, we can certainly look at adding a "Mark All As Read" feature. But your suggestion makes me think an alterntive solution may be to add a date filter. "Last 24 hours", "Last Week", "Last Month"...

    You could then apply Unread and Last Week (and any other filter). What do you think?

    Yes, I thought of a date filter as well. That would be a good solution longer-term. My suggestion would be to "make these forums like the old ones", in which I had more threads marked read.


    Again, I'm not suggesting this be done for all forums members; just for those like me who try to use "unread" as an indication of "I need to read it" so I can respond to it.
