I lost my FREE 90 days - doesn't seem fair! RRS feed

As I was registering for the free trial, I recieved a pop-up that said if I wanted uninterupted service (I assummed at the end of the 90 day trial), I should subscribe now. I did so only to find out I only had 12 months of service instead of 15 months of service for the same money.  How do I apply for a refund, sign up for the free 90 days and then re-subscribe?  OR  How do I get Microsoft to extend my subsciption for another 90 days?

  • Unfortunately, your 90 day trial ends as soon as you subscribe or activate. If you purchased your subscription via credit card as part of the activation process, you can contact support to cancel your subscription and then reinstall without activating. Activate the subscription at the end of the 90 day trial. Note that if you activated with a retail key, you will not be able to cancel and activate again with that key, since the key has been used.
