Cannot Validate Office 2007 due to Sharepoint Designer not valid RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello!

I have researched this and am not finding a solution.  Here is the diagnostic thread in the hopes that someone may see something I don't!  The red looks like something I read on thread...but not sure.  I have a valid copy of Office 2007, installed by me.  Let me know if anything pops out!  BTW, I have run all the diagnostics I've found on the other threads, and have also uninstalled and reinstalled...

  • Knadnkimi,

Sorry to hear about the problems.  Question is Sharepoint Designer a trial version which you downloaded or came preinstalled on your computer at the time of purchase?

  • It was installed with Office 2007 I believe...I don't ever remember seeing it before then.  I did download a trial first and then install using the key code when I purchased the product.

    Thanks for your attention,

  • Kim,

First we recommend you to uninstall any and all trial/beta versions of Office and Office stand alone programs. Then install your purchased version of Office using the product key code located on the software sleeve.  Please look @ the following Knowledge Base (KB) article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/en-us. Here you will find detailed instructions for removing beta release versions of Office Suite 2007 or program.
