WebService bug (MS NNTP bridge) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

When do you plan to fix the bug in the web-service which already was reported here:
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/reportabug/thread/dbe344b1-c0c2-4015-9e79-b975e06e0fe1#e060c569-a3c4-4744-ab24-10093f5cf241

Why was this thread marked as answered and locked? even if the bug still exists???

Do you plan to shutdown the web-service?

Here are again the steps to repro the problem with the MS bridge:

    telnet localhost 119

200 Server is ready and posting is allowed.

  • The thread is answered as "yes, there is a bug we are working on", it is locked because we don't need any more conversation, repro steps or additional information about it, the ball is in our court.  We have no plans to shut down the service.
